Jeff Crosby

Executive Director

Since 2015, Jeff has been the executive director of Colorado River Land Trust leading the organization on its mission to protect land throughout the Colorado River watershed. Jeff has nearly two decades of land conservation and nonprofit management experience and has worked extensively with private landowners throughout his career. Before joining Colorado River Land Trust, he served as the executive director of Guadalupe-Blanco River Trust. He also worked for Land Legacy, a statewide land conservation group in Oklahoma focused on protecting critical agricultural land and water resources. Jeff has a bachelor’s of science from the University of Oklahoma and currently serves on the governing board of Compatible Lands Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to promoting the conservation of land and natural resources and compatible land use among public and private landowners. In his free time, you will find Jeff outdoors with his wife and daughter or on the basketball court with his son.

Rob Stroup

Born and raised in Austin, Rob has been part of Colorado River Land Trust since its inception. He attended Texas State University after a four-year career serving his country in the United States Marine Corps. He became a licensed real estate agent, embarking on a successful career selling farm and ranch properties in south and central Texas, and worked as a hunting guide on ranches throughout the state. As the conservation director, Rob works closely with private landowners helping them to fulfill their conservation goals for their property. Spending time outdoors and doing a job you genuinely love is the perfect fit for someone with Rob’s background.

Hope Boatright

With over a decade of marketing, public relations, and nonprofit experience, Hope manages Colorado River Land Trust’s membership, events, and outreach programs.

Hope grew up on the banks of Barton Creek on her family’s national award-winning farmstead goat dairy, Pure Luck Farm and Dairy in Dripping Springs, Texas. Outside of working on her family’s central Texas farm, she worked for several years in destination marketing for tourism organizations. She is a City of Dripping Springs Parks and Recreation Commissioner and currently serves on the City of Dripping Springs Bird City Designation committee and is also on the board of directors for the Dripping Springs Women’s Club.

Hope can often be found on a central Texas river in her kayak with a fly rod in hand, or enjoying a peaceful evening on the front porch with her husband and two Australian Shepherds, Quigley and Claude.
